Nikki Wintters (Director):

Nikki Wintters began her sixteen years of dance training as a toddler at
Jeanie Deans Dance Machine in San Angelo, Texas and then moved to
Tap and Toe in Plano, Texas.  She also was a member of her high
school drill team in Plano, Texas and then continued her training at
Art of Dance in Plano, Texas.  A successful career in sales and
marketing and family including five children stalled her dance career
temporally until 2006 when she returned to dance and taught tap and
ballet for the previous owner of
Dance Company of Wylie.
She and her husband, also a business owner in Wylie, have lived in
Wylie with their five children since 2000.
Jennifer Kaiser, M.F.A.  (Artistic Director):

Jenn Oppenheimer began her training in Plano, TX at the age of 3
years old at Art of Dance. She also trained at the Edge Performing Arts
center in Los Angeles, performed at local and national competitions,
and won scholarships to Company Dance and Encore. She later
received a performance scholarship to Oklahoma City University where
she continued her education in ballet, tap, and jazz. While at OCU she
studied under Jo Rowan, Leonard Reed, and Robert Reed and
performed with the American Spirit Dance Company. After leaving
Oklahoma City University, Jenn received her Bachelor of Arts degree in
Art and Performance at the University of Texas at Dallas. There, Jenn
broadened her education in dance and studied more modern styles
under the direction of Micki Saba. While working with Micki, Jenn
danced in the Dallas Morning News Dance Festival, and was the feature
choreographer for UTD's Fall and Spring Arts Festival. Jenn has also
performed with Garland Summer musicals in their renditions of
Can-Can and Music Man, danced with N2it Dance Company directed
by Stacey Keathley, and danced as a Dallas Sidekick Sizzle Dancer.

In May of 2008 Jenn received her Master of Fine Arts degree in dance
from Texas Woman's university where she taught as a graduate
teaching assistant.  There, her research focused on the integration of
dance as creative and competitive arts within the dance studio.  She is
currently an adjunct professor at Richland College in Dallas while she is
also the Assistant Artistic Director and a dancer for Dallas Dance
Company.  She has been teaching at studios around the DFW
metroplex preparing student companies for competitions and is excited
to be fully committed as Artistic Director for
Dance Company of
Wylie.
