PERFORMANCE COMPANIES
Participation in a D.C.W. Company is on an invitation only basis.

The mission of Dance Company of Wylie’s Performance Companies is to provide those
with the desire to study dance at a more intense level, allowing students to learn not only
dance technique, but also performance processes, choreography, dance history, dance
criticism, and to learn dance as creative artists.  Company members are motivated to learn
who they are as artists, performers, and dancers, while connecting with fellow company
members as a single, solid, educated, and artistic unit that will perform, create, and learn as
a whole.

Our mission is to provide the tools for each student to acknowledge who they are as an
individual dancer while also acquiring the skills to contribute to and work within a
community of artistic and knowledgeable human beings.
